US home broadband carpool season: paid 63 yuan, used for only 3 days, auto-renewed next time, no refunds.

The home broadband pooling plan costs 63 yuan per quarter; after only 3 days it was forcibly rolled into the next term, no refunds allowed.
Please help me appeal to the administrator; there’s really no way out.

The cause was that this person’s US home broadband requires quarterly payments, and he said he couldn’t connect directly and had to go through a relay.

Then he set up a US VPS as a relay, used AI to guide him throughout, and built clahs to the home broadband node.
Only used for 3 days and the subscription was forcibly canceled; the seller says it’s abuse and refunds are not possible.

I don’t understand what’s happening, because before buying it was agreed in advance that it would only be used to register a Claude subscription,

Because direct connection wasn’t possible, Claude had to use a fingerprint browser to fill in the relay node information and log in to authorize the account.

Finally, after checking with AI, it turned out it was brute-forced by unknown attackers. But I was completely unaware, and in fact the 3 days’ traffic wasn’t used much, which indicates that the connection didn’t actually succeed.

This is the evidence the seller cites of abuse.

Do you all think we should issue a refund?

Admins can only coordinate, right? This isn’t arbitration here either.

But I really didn’t abuse it. One of the statements above is false. I admit it, even if you insult me.

I’m just feeling a bit off; I really don’t understand what’s going on, and I can’t connect directly. I even bought a US-based relay server, then asked AI to help write a Clash configuration file. I checked the traffic, and it didn’t amount to much. I didn’t understand what was going on the whole time. I vowed to be careful, but it’s still not working. I just deleted the node.

To be honest, it’s a problem caused by inexperience, but it did happen. You can’t just say the problem doesn’t exist because it wasn’t intentional. A full refund seems unrealistic; a partial refund might be worth considering :thinking:

Although you’re being a bit much, I still think the remaining value should be refunded to you. Of course I think it should be refunded after one month. During this period, if the IP gets dirty, you would need to pay the cost to replace the dirty IP, and then the remaining value will be returned to you. If you agree, we can do it this way.

I think it’s all good, and we can also ensure that this kind of problem won’t happen again; it’s fine if no refunds are issued. But I feel uncomfortable saying it outright like that, as if I’m abusing it. If it really can’t be solved, there’s nothing we can do. We can just be more careful next time, but the admins should handle this kind of thing, right? After all, this place only supports password-protected red envelopes and USDT trades.

Are these really the current carpool rules? If everyone agrees to these rules, I’ll also agree not to issue refunds.

I understand, but the car owner can only judge based on actual behavior; after all, it’s hard to judge from a one-sided account. You really didn’t misuse it on purpose, but due to an oversight it led to misuse, and there’s nothing we can do about that.

It’s always been this way. When the IP is dirty and you can’t find anyone, you just level it. When you find someone, you make them pay—after all, it’s them who polluted it. If they won’t pay, you just drop them. The money you pay isn’t even enough to cover changing the IP once. Do you think you’re paying a lot…? In the United States, broadband costs 63 yuan, with an average of 21 yuan per month. To be honest, I wouldn’t drive this hard; it’s not worth it—the energy and time costs are too high. It would be better to set the price higher; with fewer people it’s easier. For someone like you, there’s nothing to use; you’re best off shopping around for overpriced SAAS and getting gouged.

Your own misconfiguration led to a subscription leak and abuse - isn’t that your responsibility as well?

I just re-read your post, and I suspect that the browser you downloaded may have a backdoor that steals your nodes and then leaks them, causing this. Which browser are you using?

RoxyBrowser fingerprint browser

But in fact there was no abuse; the traffic didn’t surge.

Moreover, I explicitly stated that next time I would ask the AI to strengthen the protection (no refund needed, I’ll pay attention). Because this node must be relayed to be usable, Claude registration also has to be done using a fingerprint browser. I had already said before purchasing that I would do this.

Used 10 GB of data in 1.5 hours.

Seller, is 10 GB of data a lot? You also said that the subscription is for 200 GB.
