Looking for a car in the US

I’m here specifically to work on AI; I don’t use it much. I only need about 50GB of data per month, but I actually only use around 20GB. My budget is around 20 yuan, preferably Froniter’s home broadband.

Has the old man shown up? I’ll come lurk around too.

The demand is exactly the same! I can’t understand why there are so few cars like this— is it because they’re not profitable?

How much money can you make? Unless it’s fake home broadband, this kind of home broadband is cheap—$15 for the cheap option, $35 for the expensive one, $20 per month to pay. Probably shared by seven or eight people.

Driving traffic is a hassle; you have to configure the control panel, set up traffic routing, and also manage and answer questions. It’s not hard, but most people are beginners with no technical skills or patience to tinker. The forum’s regulars who drive traffic would just charge at cost—who would take this on just to earn a few bucks?

In fact, someone could come in to organize things, even if it means earning a bit more.
I’ve found that many people have the same needs as me: they don’t need a lot of monthly traffic, as long as they can use AI reliably.
Of course, that’s just my personal view.

On this forum, the guys who run these setups for personal use typically split the cost and charge only at cost. If there really are people who want to make a lot of money, the quality they provide may not be that good or their channels may be unstable.

Just look at the forum these days: several people have directly added you on WeChat and are offering you exclusive home broadband for 130 yuan, but their upstream sources are unclear.

So either wait for legitimate self-use posts from normal folks, or go to a trustworthy, legitimate broadband seller and buy from them to distribute. There are tutorials for this stuff; a day of tinkering and you’ll have it down.

Thanks a lot, everyone, for your warm and helpful answers!

Maybe I’ll run a batch myself later.
Actually I’ve tinkered with it before, but the IP quality wasn’t great.
To be honest, a day of tinkering is enough to get it done.
Nowadays, a lot of them are one-click scripts.

One-click scripts generally can’t enforce traffic limits or provide specific service routing. It’s recommended to use 3xui. When you’re setting things up, you should understand what you need: do you need a routing device, or do you need home broadband? When using home broadband, direct connections are usually not possible, and you also need to consider whether to provide routing relays for fellow users. For VPS, you can simply use MeowVPS.

The node you get with a one-click script will have its traffic pumped for you in a day.

Most people who pool resources operate at cost price, basically about 1 TB per month. If someone like you uses only 20 GB and sells to 50 people, the IP quality will drop quickly. Weren’t the R guys testing it anyway? Using 10 home broadband connections won’t cause a noticeable drop in quality. If you use so little data, that can only mean you’re a premium customer. If you say you only use 20 GB per month, even selling to 10 people might not cover the costs, and you’d also need to buy a separate modem/router.
