Right now I have home broadband, but the airport proxy has been unstable recently. I’m looking for a cheap server—RN, DediRock, or DaMa Pinche (大妈拼车). Budget around 100 yuan per year, on the China Telecom network. Any other options? I usually use about 150 GB of data per month. Not high requirements; just need to watch 720p smoothly.
For the best experience, choose Dama Pinche (大妈拼车)
For cheaper prices, choose dedirock
For stability, choose rn
I still think rn is the one; I prefer self-hosted servers for stability.
Let’s go with this one.
Keep recommending downstairs.
Hey folks, quick question: if you self-host, is it easy for an IP to get blocked? If it gets blocked, do you have to buy a new IP?
If it’s cheap, just go for it now—100 a year hardly buys you an optimized route.
