RN’s own official speed-test service is already available
For example, the current in-stock San Jose test page on the West Coast: https://lg-sj.racknerd.com/ (speed test site)
After opening, you will see labels for each data center; select the corresponding label to run a speed test
The official speed test is the most accurate and reliable, and the official test probably hasn’t enabled BBR. After purchasing, enable BBR in your own optimized configuration, and you’ll get better results than the official one
It provides a description of each data center and the test IP; you can use local CMD commands to ping and measure latency
There are also per-data-center download test files 10M, 100M, 1G; you can download directly or use a download tool such as Xunlei to test
You can identify the best route for your local broadband ISP during each time period, then make an accurate purchase
Latency isn’t the only metric of connection quality; you should also consider throughput, peak, stability, etc. You can test speeds using the official test files above
This post can help apply for bandwidth doubling; I was among the first to help everyone apply for bandwidth doubling, and to date I have never left anyone behind.
RN Current Data Center Distribution + Test IPs:

New York latency is a bit higher than the West Coast, but it’s not so bad that you can’t connect. Use this tool to test: 在线ping_多地ping_多线路ping_持续ping_网络延迟测试_服务器延迟测试 test your IP
Check whether the ping to domestic sites times out while the foreign nodes are normal. If that’s the case, the IP is blocked. You can get a free IP change within 72 hours of purchase.
Add the official speed-test link for Chicago; use this: 198.23.228.18
Or arbitrarily change the trailing IP address octets (within 255) to find one that can be pinged
